International Life, Life Insurance Company S.A.was founded in 1991 and is active in Life Insurance (Individual and Group Insurance and Bancassurance) with the main concentration of turnover in individual insurances, whether they relate to mainstream programs or life assurance linked to investment (Unit Linked products). International Life, Life Insurance Company S.A.is among the first companies in the Greek Market (1995) who was active in the investment products of new generation Unit Linked. One of the main features of the company is that it responds quickly to the most sophisticated needs of customers by designing and creating innovative, modern and flexible programs and services.

International Life is among the most technologically advanced companies in the insurance market, offering direct service to each partner through the Internet platform that has been developed. Through this platform the company offers direct service to its clients 24 hours a day, wherever they are.

Reinsurance policy
The company sets carefully its reinsurance policy, which consists in choosing the appropriate reinsurance program and the reinsurers who will be selected to implement,

The Company has currently mainly proportional reinsurance contracts (quota share and / or Surplus) as well as contracts of excess losses (excess of loss). Our major reinsurers are companies of international standing: New Re, Scor Global Life, Iannnover Life re, Scottish Re.

Merge of International S.A. (Former Universal Life Hellas, Life Insurance Company S.A.)
At the end of 2010, the merge by absorption of International S.A. (Formerly Universal Life Hellas Life Insurance Company S.A.) from the International Life S.A. with the Minister Ref K3-1395/30-12-2010 decision of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. This decision was preceded by a corresponding decision of approval of E.P.E.I.A.

This merge is a strategic move of the International Life, Life Insurance Company S.A.and leads to making the sales network stronger, enchasing investment, maximazing the production and its market share and enchance its liquidity, leading the Group in a continious and dynamic development.Furthermore, it significantly strengthens the portfolio of the group insurance of the Company, uses the expertise and knowledge of International AEAZ on group insurance (in greek and multinational companies).
